We want to get to know YOU, your story, your goals

We are passionate about one thing YOU, we believe to our core that YOU are the most important part of our story, helping guide YOU, support YOU, motivate YOU, educate YOU, and cheer alongside YOU. Without YOU there wouldn't be an us.

We want to get to know YOU, your story, your goals

We want to get to know YOU, your story, your goals

We want to get to know YOU, your story, your goals

Enhance Movement has three main areas in which we believe, through the power and science of movement, we can enhance your goals, help YOU with your plan and be part of your story.

We help guide, educate, and motivate our family (YOU) in many different areas bringing together a biopsychosocial approach to everything we do.

Enhance Movement is very flexible in the way of location, to put it simply we come to YOU. Whether that is Home Visits, Community Spaces, or Local Gyms.  Enhance Movement has access to to several community spaces across the Fraser Coast:

  • Snap Fitness Maryborough
  • Mako's Health Club

Do you need a referral to see an AEP at Enhance Movement?

No, YOU don't need a referral to come and see us. We accept all major Health Funds, it will just depend on your level of cover and who YOU have as your provider that will determine your rebate.

NDIS

Enhance Movement is an Accredited NDIS Provider. Enhance Movement can support those under the NDIS within the scope of Exercise Physiology in two main areas:

  • Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living
  • Capacity Building - Improved Health & Wellbeing

We can assist YOU with your needs and goals and support YOU to be the best version of YOU.  All sessions are 1:1 but we can also offer small group sessions if this is more for YOU.

If YOU are unsure, check with NDIS directly, and they will be able to assist YOU.

Department of Veteran Affairs & Medicare

DVA Health Cards (White or Gold) are accepted at Enhance Movement. We do require a referral from your GP on a D904 Form. Exercise Physiology can assist YOU in self-managing your chronic condition and guide and support YOU along the way.

Access Rebates Through Your GP Care Plan

Did you know you may be eligible for Medicare rebates to support your neurological rehabilitation? If YOU have a chronic health condition, your GP can prepare a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan, previously known as an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan, under the new GP Chronic Condition Management Program (GPCCMP).

This plan allows YOU to access up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year, partially funded by Medicare. At Enhance Movement, we can guide YOU through the process and work closely with your GP to ensure your plan reflects your rehabilitation needs.

How We Help:

  • Assist YOU in discussing eligibility with your GP
  • Provide supporting documentation for your referral
  • Deliver evidence-based, client-centred neuro rehab sessions under your plan

What You’ll Need:

  • A GP referral for CDM/GPCCMP
  • Your Medicare card
  • Any relevant medical reports or history

Group Exercise Sessions

Before YOU commence one of our Group Exercise Sessions we do require YOU to have an Initial Assessment with our AEP. It allows us to understand YOU as a person, what your goals are and how to develop a plan that is just for YOU. But also understand your medical history and exercise history. We conduct a range of baseline measures to understand what your body is trying to say and how we can prescribe YOU the right exercise and movement possible to help YOU.   If YOU want to join our Semi-Private  Exercise Physiology Group, please get in touch with us directly so we can get YOU started.

Clinical Pilates

Before YOU commence your Clinical Pilates journey, we need to have all the facts and figures, which means we need YOU to have an Initial Assessment so we can get to know YOU, your goals, your medical history and what barriers YOU might be having towards movement and exercise. We then prescribe a program just for YOU. This means when YOU see our AEP in a 1:1 or Group Session, YOU will work on your program with exercises and movements that are for YOU. This will also allow us to progress, modify and track your movement journey and enjoy discussions over Lattes every once in a while!  If YOU want to join our Semi-Private Clinical Pilates Group, please get in touch with us directly so we can get YOU started.
